I just spent a weekend with one of my principle yoga teachers. She taught a weekend workshop in Anchorage. It was such a treat to immerse myself in a bigger yoga community and sit at the feet of my teacher who has inspired me along the path.
Often when I take a yoga workshop I am struck by the teachings and how they apply so brilliantly both on and off the mat. I’m also reminded that I need to hear them again and again, in order to truly understand them.
Nature has always inspired me – the beauty of each season, the call of the migrating birds, the light on the mountains. The cycle repeats with certainty and yet it takes my breath away. So simple and profound.
How lucky we are to live in a place with so much to offer. Don’t forget to stop and breath it in…
