February’s asana focus is BACKBENDS. Backbends are a great way to develop both strength and flexibility of the spine. They increase stamina, breath and heart opening.
Philosophy – we will explore the second Pada of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

The Friday morning class will be a FLOW YOGA class for the month of February. This class is suitable for any student who is injury free and interested in a faster moving practice. Please note there is no class on the 12th.
The dance/fitness class folks have talked me into continuing with this class. It meets on Fridays 11am – noon. Come dance, sweat, and build strength all to an African beat. New session starts on February 19th.
